Want to get involved but not quite sure what to do? The campaign is being launched in June 2018 to give our sponsors and partners time to plan. Here are some suggestions to get those creative thoughts moving. We ask that your positive ideas Embrace the Gulf. You don’t have to live on the coast to love the Gulf either. Inland partners can show their connection to the Gulf of Mexico too. Opportunities are endless.
Be a Sponsor (throw the campaign a little cash)
Share. Let others know about this campaign and encourage their involvement. Plan to participate in the social media activity leading up to and during the year 2020. Mark your calendar now and check back regularly for new resources.
Contribute a fact. Participate in the development 365 Messages (Leap year, really 366!). Who knows, we may get more.
Co-brand an activity. Do you conduct an annual workshop, conference, festival, competition or other activity? Why not make Embrace the Gulf the theme?
Create something new. Perhaps you’ve always wanted to hold a seafood cooking competition or a Gulf themed art contest, now is the time to plan. Maybe your organization has always wanted to create podcast? Now is a great time.
